NIMC Data Corrections for JAMB and WAEC (2025)
To correct errors in profile code. Firstly, understand these errors are from NIMC, not Jamb.
STEP 1: correct the error at NIMC office
STEP 2: Do NIN VALIDATION
Step 3: Send SMS to JAMB// REQUERY (leave a space) NIN NUMBER TO 55019. You get a response, "Your details have been successfully pulled from NIMC; proceed to register.". Or you get "no recent data changes pulled from NIMC." If you get a successful message, proceed to step 4. If you get no data pulled, message redo validation or complain at the NIMC office.
STEP 4: get COURT AFFIDAVIT matching your desired change
Step 5: Visit Our CBT CENTRE during Jamb registration period with the following: "NEW NIN SLIP showing correct data, APPROVAL SMS RECEIVED FROM JAMB, COURT AFFIDAVITS, and Payment."
Step 6: The CBT centre will provide you with a NIMC BIODATA FORM TO FILL. Kindly fill in correctly to avoid errors.
STEP 7: Make payment to CBT CENTRE FOR NIMC BIODATA CORRECTION
Step 8: PROVIDE all documentation, and your correction will be done immediately.
Please understand that corrections must be done before your JAMB registration is completed. Remember to tell the operator attending to you at CBT CENTRE that you are doing NIMC correction before they start. Once your PIN is validated without notice of correction, you may not be able to do the corrections.
