How to Pay FUTA School Fees

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced its school fees for the 2024/2025 academic sessions. Well, to be precise, FUTA tuition fee is free but other and charges are applied.

For freshers in 100L and 200L, they’re mandatory to pay other fees and charges which includes;

The total amount for Freshers in 100L and Direct Entry Students in 200L is N271,500. Note, all these fees are mandatory and must be paid in full within the specified timeframe as it's highlighted in your e-portal.

Starting from 300L to 500L, their tuition fees are free but other fees are applied. See as highlighted in the table below:

How to pay FUTA Fees online

If you are to pay any of these fees online, here's how you can do it. We will use the acceptance fee payment as an example in this article.

Follow these steps to pay FUTA acceptance fee online:

  • Login to your FUTA e-portal. Freshers can login with their JAMB reg.no and password.
  • Tap on “Get Payment Invoice” on the e-portal and choose “Acceptance Fee”. You can choose any other fee you want to make payment for.
  • Fill in the acceptance fee form and generate the payment invoice.
  • You can now make payments to the designated account number generated on the payment invoice. You can make payment via any means including card, bank transfer or bank deposit.
  • The acceptance fee is N40,000. You’re not expected to pay beyond or below it. However, not that bank charges may applies.

Once the payment is made, you will need to login to the e-portal to validate your payment. Once the acceptance fee is sorted out, then you can proceed to print your acceptance letter, pay other fees and proceed with registration procedure.
