AltSchool starts Digital Learning in Europe
Altschool is an African edutech startup that gives students and interested people the ability to learn the skills they need to build and grow their careers. The company has been existing in seven African countries and now, it is expanding its education services to Europe.
Altschool plans to utilize a hybrid learning model that diverges from its predominantly online approach in Africa. The company is introducing digital learning without borders in Europe. More so, Altschool choose Malta as its European operational base.
The edutech's expansion into Europe aims to tackle workforce challenges by delivering specialized educational programs tailored to the needs of emerging technological sectors. The European programs will focus primarily on critical technological fields, including cybersecurity, cloud engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and data science.
AltSchool has experienced significant growth since inception. The company has enrolled over 100,000 students in programs spanning engineering to creative economies, with the United Kingdom becoming its third-largest market after Nigeria and Kenya.
Demonstrating its dedication to quality education, the platform achieved full accreditation from the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC) in February 2024.
As Altschool is expanding digital learning to Europe, it is making its core mission of creating accessible educational pathways that empower individuals and support business innovation to build their career to move forward.
