The University of Cross River State (Unicross) has announced the commencement of its Acceptance fee payment for all newly accepted admitted students into degree programmes in the school.
According to a statement seen by School Magazine, the acceptance fee payment will begin on Monday 9th, September 2024. However, the payment is only for candidates who had accepted their admission offer on the JAMB caps.
In this article, we will walk you through how you can successfully pay your acceptance fee on the Unicross portal and easily secure your admission with the institution.
How much is Unicross Acceptance Fee?
The University of Cross River (Unicross) Acceptance Fee for 2024/2025 academic session is N25,000. In other words, to secure you admission with the institution, you’re required to pay a non-refundable fee of twenty-five thousand naira (N25,000).
Once the payment is made, you’ll then be able to print your admission letter, acceptance form and school fee chat. Meanwhile, it’s important to understand that JAMB’s admission Letter is different from Unicross Admission Letter - which you need to print to proceed with your registration in the institution.
Making Payment for your Unicross Acceptance Fee
As required by the institution board, the acceptance fee is expected to be paid via the Unicross online portal. Any other platform for payment will not be accepted and you can loose money through it.
To pay your acceptance fee, ensure you visit this Unicross portal: https://www.portal.unicross.edu.ng. Once you’re on that page, click on “Get SPC” to begin your registration. Next, type-in your JAMB Reg NO on the “New Student Space”.
Enter your valid phone number and your state of origin. Once all that processes are completed, you’ll given a student payment code (SPC) which will be displayed on the payment page and also be sent to your phone number as SMS.
Now, you have to copy and paste the SPC in the Acceptance Fee box that’ll provided on the payment page and click on proceed. Once that’s done, choose your preferred means of payment. The payment methods accepted on the Unicross Portal are debit (ATM) card payment, inter-bank transfer and USSD payment.
After you successfully complete the payment, you can go ahead to print your Acceptance/Admission Letter, Acceptance Form and School Fee Chat.
