During the institution 20th graduation ceremony, AIT's 20th Graduation Ceremony, that occurred in the school premises, President of AIT - Professor Clement Dzidonu highlighted the University's plans to spearhead the digital transformation of education while he's addressing the graduating students and the guests.
AIT is one of the leading technological university in the country. The Institution is ranked as the top private University in Ghana by the Ghana Tertiary Awards (GTA). For the fourth consecutive year, the University has been honored with the Best Technology University in Ghana Award, a recognition bestowed by the Ghana Tertiary Awards.
Furthermore, the Institution is also accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to offer both campus-based and Open University undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These are just to mention few to show that AIT is an award-winning University in Ghana.
Now, AIT is stepping up it global pioneer by embracing and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all aspects of its educational sectors. The Institution acknowledges that integrating AI is more than just a trend—it's an essential step for 21st-century education.
The AIT Board of Trustees, made up of six former Vice Chancellors, is leading efforts to create detailed policies and guidelines for this integration of new AI technologies in their education. The initiative is focused on preparing AIT graduates with the necessary skills, knowledge, and adaptability to succeed in an economy and society increasingly shaped by AI technological advancements.
